BERWICK u3a GEOLOGY GROUP, September 2023
Welcome back to geology sessions for those who have been members in previous years. Newcomers are equally welcome, whatever your previous knowledge of geology. This year the talks will cover the basic ideas in geology, focusing on specific islands for illustration, as on the schedule below.
We will be meeting in the Lounge in King James Court, West Street, Berwick, on the first Wednesday of the month. Our large group will be split between two sessions: 9.30 – 11.30am and 12noon to 2pm.
For entry to the Lounge, walk a few metres further down West Street and there will be a door straight into the room which we will open at about 9.15. The main entrance to King James Court is reserved for residents only. Please bring your own refreshments, as we will have a social break during each session.
