There’s no easy way or shortcuts to tracing your family tree. If you’re interested in your ancestry you’ve come to the right place.
I’m passionate about researching my family and have been doing so for over 30 years. I’m not a professional genealogist but do my best to start people off on their journey and hopefully keep them going.
We meet every week in the library because we are able to access two of the main genealogical sites for free – Findmypast and Ancestry. You don’t need any special equipment although it’s helpful to have some computer knowledge.
Individual help is given but we also discuss genealogy in general, how to find elusive ancestors, how to best use various websites, DNA and much more. It doesn’t matter where in the country your heritage lies you will be certain to find lots of interesting things about your forebears.
