Welcome to the crib information page.
What is crib?
Crib is a game for 2 players using a standard pack of cards (without the jokers) and a specific type of board for recording the points scored. First player to 121 points wins the game.
Points are scored in a few different ways eg making 15 during play, playing a run, cards played adding to 31. Don’t worry about this if you’ve never played, everything will be explained and questions are welcome at any time.
Who is crib for?
It’s for anyone who wants to play or learn a new card game. Your level of play and knowledge of the game don’t matter, everyone is welcome. This will be a friendly, informal group, meeting to play and enjoy crib with a social element included.

1st Tuesday of each month at 2-4pm
Back hall at St Aidans
£3 per session to cover cost of the room hire and refreshments, to be paid in advance for 3 sessions. This may be reviewed dependent on numbers attending.
We generally play for an hour, have tea/coffee and biscuits, then play till about 3:55 to give us time to clear up.
